I went to a BYU football camp this last week and it was awesome! I met Coach Mendenhall and talked to him about Uncle Deric. He told me the "snake story" haha. We worked out a lot, ate great food, watched highlight videos and hung out with our counselor named Johnny. It was great! I can't wait to go again next year with a friend this time. Goooooo Cougars!

Life has been pretty good lately. My Dad and I went on an awesome campout to Goblin Valley with the Scouts. We also had a big reunion on the Cooper side of the family that was really fun. I also signed up to go to football camp at BYU in June and I am REALLY excited about that. This is a picture of my big muscles - look how impressed Aunt Kristin is :)

What else do you do when you have a day off from school and your bored? Make famous Poulsen chocolate chip cookies of course! This is my good friend Hunter - don't you LOVE his sweatshirt!!!!

My Hunting Adventure

I woke up to hear my alarm ringing. I looked up and saw the red light flash 5:00 am. Moaning I got out of bed, and put on my shirt, two pairs of socks, my coveralls and boots.

As we pulled up to the gate, I had no idea of what a great hunt we were going to have.

There were ducks flying everywhere, I wanted to shoot but my dad said no, wait wait for the channel.

My dad said go to the channel over there and I will over here. As I walked I could hear ducks quacking. Suddenly I looked up and saw ducks everywhere on the channel. I picked out a drake pintail, and then said to myself your dead. I jumped up, I followed him and squeezed the trigger, bang! The drake folded! That was my first drake pintail, I am going to have him mounted. My dad shot one too!
